To reinforce this commitment, we recently hosted a comprehensive Fire Warden Training session for team members from our Scarborough and Helperthorpe facilities.

The session was facilitated by Caroline Witts from Coast Risk Management who provided our team with vital insights into fire prevention and emergency leadership.

Crucially, this wasn't just a theoretical course. The training included a hands-on practical session where team members gained direct experience in the safe use of fire extinguishers. This practical element is vital for building the calm confidence needed to react correctly if a small fire were ever to break out on-site.

By training members from both facilities simultaneously, we ensure a unified approach to safety across our sites, ad our newly trained Fire Wardens are now fully equipped to:

• Identify and mitigate potential fire hazards before they escalate.

• Confidently operate fire extinguishers and other firefighting equipment.

• Lead safe and efficient evacuations for their colleagues.
