Brief

Following new government legislation, a water and wastewater company needed to improve access to its water tanks to ensure safer and more efficient maintenance. Hague Engineering partnered with MPR to deliver a durable, compliant steel access solution.

Solution

MPR designed and fabricated custom steel gantries based on drawings provided by the tank manufacturer. These gantries span the water processing tanks, providing secure and convenient access for maintenance personnel.

To ensure durability in a wet and corrosive environment, the gantries were partially fabricated at MPR’s facility, then galvanised for long-term protection. Final assembly was completed on-site by the client’s installation team.

Results

• The site now fully meets the updated legislative requirements.
